Michael Hubbard is a counselor specializing in adolescent therapy in the areas of sexual abuse, loss, grief, death and dying and improving self esteem.
Mr. Hubbard’s career start was in medicine, initially at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York and later at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.In both centers, his focus was in Clinical and Anatomical Pathology and in Transplant Immunology (e.g., kidney transplant program).
He has also been a co-founder of a number of medical-based biotechnology companies in Oregon and one in Dublin, Ireland.
In the clinical counselor setting, much of his prior experience has primarily been with children with a focus on death and dying and with grief through death and other loss of loved ones. Mr. Hubbard is especially adept in health issues, health crisis, organ transplant and end of life issues. He is also working in the sexual abuse field with juveniles.
